NEW JOINERY FACTORIES
STATE HOUSING SCHEME ACCEPTANCE OF TENDERS (Per Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. It is understood that the tender of the Fletcher Construction Company has been accepted by the State Advances Corporation for the erection of factories for the manufacture of joinery and other materials under the Government's housing scheme ai Wellington and Auckland. The Wellington factory is lo be erected on ■'•land recently reclaimed by the Railway Department at Kaiwarra.
