The racer, Silver Coat, which was brought from New Zealand by E;. J. Ellis., lias, been purchased by J. O'Connor. The price was'not disclosed. A Melbourne report states that Marabou, the winner of last year's Melbourne Cup, lias broken down and probably will never race again.
