BUTTER SLIDES TO 103/BELOW GUARANTEED PRICE The market for New Zealand Imtier in London, has suffered a further decline of 3s per cwt. to 103 s. making a total reduction of 6s during the week and 19s from the peak last month. Danish, or, the other hand, is still within 4s of the level reached at that time, and to-day's quotation is Is higher than the price received yesterday. Messrs. A. 11. Turubull and Company, Limited, report having received advice from Messrs. W. Weddel and Company, Limited, London, under yesterday's date as follows:—"Butter.—Danish. 1245; New Zealand, 103 s; Australian. 103 s. Cheese.—New Zealand, white, 675, coloured, 655. Both markets are depressed." The new level of 103 s per cut. in London is below the Government's guarantee of 12 9-16 d per 11.., f.0.b., and is equal to less than 12Jd' per lb. OPOSSUM SKIN PRICES Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following telegram from their Dunediii .branch: "At the opossum skin sale held on Friday 70,000 skins were offered, our catalogue comprising 43,500. Dark colours were par to 3d lower and light coloured skins 3d to Is lower. Blues made 6s lid to 16s 6d ; grevs. 6s 7d to 13s 5d ; reds. 3s lOd to 7s lid; blacks, 3s 5d to 6s lid; browns. 3s 7d to 5s lid; inferior, Is 6d to 55."
