KING'S THEATRE SHIRLEY TEMPLE PILM Shirley Temple's appearance iu "Poor Little Kieli GirJ," at the King's Theatre, has been marked by large audiences ul day and evening sessions. His passes gers are a jewel thief, a detective, a girl who says she is prominent socially and is suspected of being prominent in America's underworld, a nine-year-old heir to a fortune and bis nursemaid, and another man. BLIND INSTITUTE BAND POVERTY BAY & COAST VISIT Music lovers in Oisborne and along the East Coast are promised an unusual treat during the second and third weeks of October, when the Blind Institute Band trout Auckland will tour the two districts, giving performances, at the principal centres of population.
