STABILISER DEVICE
SHIPS AT SEA REDUCTION OF. ROLL (Blue. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) - (llecd. Sept. 18, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 17. A device named the Denny Brown stabiliser was demonstrated to-day. It is claimed that. it. will reduce shipboard rolling and pitching and eliminate seasickness. The device consists of fins fitted to each side of the ship and controlled by a gyroscope. It is stated that there is no reason why the device should not be fitted to ships.of any type or size.
