The French Government lias issued .1 sensational communique announcing that legal action is being taken against certain French armament firms on charges of misrepresentation in Hie construction of material intended for national defence.
The Daily Telegraph’s Paris correspondent says that the two (inns concerned are Schneider and l’ruaon Viilette. 'They are accused of manufacturing defective torpedo tubes.
