A message from Jerusalem states that a goods train of 20 wagons from Haifa was derailed on a steep gradient. The guard and look-out mail were severely injured.
The military escort fired at the wreckers, who were concealed in heavy cactus, wounding one.
The pumping station on (he Jericho road was blown up and a mass of flame resulted.
