The Daily Mail says that the New Zealand muncr, .1. L. Lovelock, before leaving for America aboard the Queen Mary, disclosed that he was working out a secret running plan against runners whom lie wili meet at the Princeton University.
lie adds that it: will prevent the competitors boxing him in and arranging for o,ue of their men to win. Lovelock will return to London before Christmas and will then go to New Zealand to advise on athletic organisation, after which lie will retire for two years in order to repair his health and finances.
