MANUKAU BY-ELECTION NOMINATIONS CLOSE (Ter Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Two candidates have been nominated for the contest in the Manukau by election, which is to be held on .September 30. When ihe nominations closed at noon, Die returning oltieor had received the nominations of Air. E. VV. Doidge and Air. A. G. Osborne. 1 here will thus be a clcar-cut contest between iho representatives of the National'Party and the Labour Party.
