DANGERS IN MEASURE
MR. MULHOLLAND’S VIEW DIFFICULTY OF FINANCE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last- night, Mr. W. W. Mulholland, Dominion President of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, in some observations on the Mortgagors and Lessees Rehabilitation Bill, pointed out that the protection of mortgagors by various Acts will expire on December 31 next, unless by that date an application has been made under tho proposed legislation. When applications under tho new Act have been dealt with tho adjustments are final, and no further protection remains for the farmer. Oil any failure to pay interest he can then be sold up immediately. Mr. Mulholland pointed out that there was one principle to be used in determining' the value of the land, and another.
