TRIP TO AUSTRALIA
MEMBER FOR TIMARU ADED AIDE CENTENARY (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, List night. Mr. Clyde Carr, the Labour member for Timaru, was selected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association to-night to represent the New Zealand branch at the centenary celebrations to be held in South Australia between December 22 and December 21 next.
The invitation to send a delegate was received from the Premier of South Australia on behalf of the Government, and the branch of the association in that State. All expenses, including fares, will be paid by the South Australian Government, and the delegates will be the guests of the State during their visit. They will also be officially entertained in other Australian States they may visit.
