BUDGET OF QUEENSLAND
NO CHANGE IN TAXES ESTIMATE OF DEBIT (Reed, Sept. 16, noon) BRISBANE, Sept. 16. The Queensland Budget which was introduced into the Assembly by the Premier and Treasurer, Mr. W. Forgan Smith, yesterday, provides for no change in tlie rate of taxation. The revenue is estimated at £16,068,000 and the expenditure at £16,718,000.
