RETURN OF FLAGSHIP
CRUISE AMONG ISLANDS FIJI SURVEY WORK (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. After two months among the islands of the Pacific, Hie flagship H.M.B. Dunedin returned to Auckland to-ooy. ■The cruise was not marked by any unusual incident. The otheers of the warship state that they found the islands in a position of recovery, with rising copra prices giving the inhabitants a most hopeful outlook. Tile people of the Cook Islands and Rarotonga were optimistic as a result, of Hie visit of the recent Government; delegation. At Suva the. cruiser did survey operations for the Fiji Government. Tho Dunedin will remain in port until the arrival of IT.M.S. Achilles, when Commodore (lie lion. E. R. Drummond and five officers will be transferred to the new vessel.
