THIRD SUCCESSIVE WIN N.Z. BASKETBALL TOURNEY (Per Prnss Association.) OHRISTCHUROH, this day. Canterbury had their third successive win at the. basketball championships today, now being one point ahead ol Southland. Championship points at noon were as follow : —Canterbury six, Southland five, Auckland three, Wellington two, Otago two, ifawke's P>av nil, and Waikato nil. Results: Seniors.—Auckland 1 14 v. Otago 13, Canterbury 29 v. Waikato 13; Southland 11 v. Wellington 10. Second Crade.—Taranaki 19 v. Southland Minor 11; Wanganui 18 v. Push 9; AshburtoiL 19 v. Wellington West 12; South Canterbury 26 v. West. Coast If); Otago Minor 14'v. llutt 'Valley 13.
