ENOE OPENED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. ( The annual conference of the Soutn African Veterans' Association .was opened tp-dav by'tlio Mayor,/Mr. T. .0. A. flislop, who wished them success in their deliberations and was sure that these would further strengthen the comradeship begun in South Africa. The annual report was adopted. The balance sheet caused some discussion, several delegates being of the opinion that the expenditure should be kept .within the limits of the funds received from the branches.
