The "Rotorua amateur golf tournament; opened in cloudy weather with a fresh. wind. The course was in admirable order and the play throughout was of a high standard. Outstanding performers were Mortland, Lnsk and S. E. Cavr. Mortkuid's weakness on the green marred a splendid long game with 110 mistakes. Belk by the defeat of Foss showed a high standard of golf.
