TOKOMARU BAY NEWS
A SOCIAL AFTERNOON (Herald Correspondent.) A few of the friends of Mrs. F. Harris, Tokomaru "Bay, who is shortly leaving for To Puia, gathered at the home of Airs. T. J. Morrison on Tuesday afternoon to say farewell and good luck, and to show their appreciation of her untiring help with church work. The time passed quickly witli social chat, and Mrs. .Morrison served a very dainty afternoon tea in the drawingroom, which .was attractively decorated with spring bulbs and flowers. Mrs. Morrison, on behalf of those present, made the gift of an exquisite picture to the guest of honour and wished her the greatest happiness for the future. Mrs, Harris suitably responded, thanking everyone for their generosity and kindness. Those "present, were Mesdames F. Harris, T. J. Morrison, J. Corbett, Brodie, P. Carroll, T. Kay, S. Ransley, T. Conole and N. Oates.
Miss May Hyland, Tikitiki, was a recent guest at'To Pnka Hotel on her return journey from Auckland.
