MILLION CATTLE TO DIE
DL'LUTH (Minnesota), July 7. The United States Secretary of Agriculture, Mr. Wallace, has authorised purchase by.the Government of J,nofl.'o()o head of cattle now left without nourishment in ihe north-west prairies owing to drought. The cattle will be .slaughtered and packed as food for the unemployed.
