INCREASE NEXT WEEK
PRICE OF BREAD MEETING HIGHER COSTS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, hist night. The Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, in an interview, said he had received the results of his department's' inquiry,- and having regard to Hie new agreement entered info between' the master baiters and their employees at the Conciliation Council proceedings this week and other factors which played a part, a slight increase would be necessary in the price of bread, though not over the whole of the Dominion.
The necessary authority permitting a slight increase in the four chief centres and in certain other places where such increase was justified would be issued next week.
