Blenheim, oil points last night. jp a boxing bout of 15 rounds, characterised by passages of fierce slugging followed by periods of comparative calm, in which the visitor’s clever generalship and expert boxing were seen to advantage.
The bout was a return match and attracted a big crowd, which was whipped to a fever pitch of excitement- when, midway, the boxers: threw science and discretion to the winds in virtually all-in fighting. Raynor set, out to hustle the Australian and established a lead with a vicious body attack, hut lie was unable to maintain the pace and allowed Hall to make up the- leeway.
