The cloth will he purple instead of the conventional green, as it is thought that this colour is best suited fe relievo eye strain. “Green creates after-images, which is proof of eye fatigue.” soys Mr. Faber Birren, the colour expert. “It, is definitely a had colour upon which to focus tile eyes constantly. This new shade of purple is a neutral colour which has no apparent after-image and therefore produces, no fatigue.”
The table is also lo have a new bed of steel and wood, and the mahogany legs will lie replaced by- hollow braces ot chromium steel.
