NEW HIGH COMMISSIONER

PLANS FOR WELCOME

LONDON, Aug. 20.

Air. AY. J. Jordan, the new High Commissioner for New Zealand, arrives in London to-morrow.

The Empress of Britain was delayed by fogs over the docks at Southampton. It is expected that at least 100 New Zealanders will greet Air. Jordan at Waterloo station.

One of his first official duties will lie to represent New Zealand with Sir James Parr as co-delegate at the League of Nations Assembly in September.
