DOMINION APPRECIATION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day The increased use which is being made of the air mail services to and from New Zealand was mentioned hv the Postmaster-General, the Hon. P. .Tones, in an interview yesterday. Jlfl Quoted figures which show allround .increases'in air mails received in New Zealand and sent from the country to overseas points. "Although there is little indication of ;.-ny growth in the use of air mail within New Zealand, there is a marked increase in the volume of air mail dispatched from and received in New Zealand, not withstand ing the fact, that the rate of postage is necessarily heavy Mid cannot be veduc'v:. owing to the heavy charges made for the carriage of letters outside ii New Zealand by air, ' said Mr. Jones.
