BIG COMPANY PROJECT
CANBERRA, June 18.
At the invitation of the Commonwealth Government, a syndicate has been formed to float a company with a nominal capital of £1,000,000 for manufacturing aircraft and aero engines in Australia. Tho Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, stated to-night that the syndicate includes Broken Hill Proprietary, Limited, Broken Hill Associated Smelters, Limited, and General Motors, Limited. The factory of Holden's, Limited, would be equipped with the most modern plant.
