DAIRY FACTORIES' AIM MANAGERS CONFER (Per Press Association.) . PALMER&TON N., this day. The annual meeting of the New Zea land Dairy Factory Managers' Associa tion was held at the National Show.
The report stated that the year had bristled with difficulties for those whose constant concern was the quality of the manufactured article.
The chairman, Mr. P. C. H. Petersen, of Cambridge, said' there would be a change in the manner of marketing the Dominion's produce, but it was the job of the managers .to make the highest quality product possible. He was sure that they would continue with that aim. The following were elected to three vacancies on the executive: Messrs.. VV. Taylor (Stratford), W. Hollis (Hinuera), and J. J. Henry (Dunedin). The principal subject for discussion was a motion that graders should not know whose butter they were grading. Several members referred to the difficulties of carrying such a principle into operation, and the motion was defeated by a large majority.
