YOUNG WOMAN KILLED
ANOTHER IN HOSPITAL
MOTOR OARS COLLIDE
(Per Press Association.) ASITBURTON, this day. A woman waJB killed and another seriously injured in a collision on the main south' road near Winslow last evening.
The victim was Mary Emily Lowe, a single woman, aged 27 years, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lowe, of Hinds, and the injured woman is Mrs. G. H. Farrell, of Hinds, a sister of Miss Lowe's. She received a fractured skull, and is in hospital in a serious condition. .
A car driven by a brother, Thomas Peter Lowe, containing also his father and mother and Miss Watson, of Hinds, collided with a ear driven by Delacy Camoron, a.commercial traveller. Mr. Cameron's car was first defected from its course by a slight collision with a third >ear driven by William 11. Simmonds, of Lowclifl'c. Mr. Lowe was travelling behind the latter.
The whole side of Mr. Lowe's car was stripped off. It. is thought Miss Lowe was killed instantly.
