Marion Dimes makes a welcome rcluru to the screen in the tasi-moving Warner Urns.-Cosmopolitan comedy romance commencing U the Regent Theatre to-morrow, "Rage Miss Glory." Supporting the lovely Marion in this picture is a. powerful cast of favourites including Dick Powell, fat O'Brien, Frnflk McHugh, Palsy Kelly. Lyle Talbot, Mary Astor, Allen .Jenkins, and Barton McLiine. "Rage Miss Glory"' is a hilarious comedy that readies a dizzy pace before the climax is eventually arrived at, and some of the situations are screamingly funny, (o say the least. The picture features a new songi number, also bearing the tit.l-i "Rage Miss Olory," which is sung by Dick Powell. The story of "Page Miss Glory" is as funny as it is unique. Miss Da vies, in the role of a country girl, neither pretty nor bright, gels a job as chambermaid in a New York hotel in which reside a highpressure promoter, portrayed by Pat O'Brien, who has nothing to promote bill his hotel hill, and Prank McHugh. a jobless newspaper photographer, McIlngh. learning that an advertiser is offering a big cash prize for a photograph of America's pretfiesl girl, makes up a composite picture, cleverly blending the most, striking features of famous stage and society folk, tie submits it under the fictitious name of "Dawn Olory." O'Brien and McHngh win the prize,, and then Ihe fun commences, for ihe whole country wants to see this beautiful girl in I lie flesh, and there loolfs, like beitiQ the devil to pay for O'Brien and McHugh until they discover. by accident, that the hotel chambermaid (Marion Davits), dressed up in devastating style: ■represents'the very personi.uca . lion of "Dawn Olory." She is a versatile little player, singing, acting and mimicry being among her capabilities, and an impish humoiu which comes naturally to her has become one of her staple attractions. "Gentle Julia" provides her with a most suitable part, that of a mischievous little girl who tries tot develop the romantic inclinations of two people. Her methods are not the wisest; but she achieves her purpose without dilliculty. "Bar 20 Rides Again" is a. stirring story about Hopalong CassidyV subjugation of the notorious outlaw "Nevada," who has a hideout in the Snake Butte country. The outlaw and his band of rustlers have been preying on Jim Arnold at tho SV ranch, and Jim appeals to Hopalong Cassidy for help. 'the hard-riding,, quick-on-the-trigger Cassidy succeeds in locating Nevada's place in the hills, where he pretends to he a victim for the outlaw's crooked card games. Then into the scene ride the rest of the "Bar 20" gang—Johnny Nelson and Red Connors, among thenvto lend Hopalong Cassidy a hand in ridding the country of the rustler gang. William Boyd is supported by Jnnmio Ellison and 'George Hayes, who appeared with him in "Hopalong Cassidy" and "The Eagle's Brood," while Jean Rouverol and Frank McGlynn, jun., are also prominent among the. supporting cast. The second feature, "The Charm School," will be a rollicking comedy with music, starring Jack Oakie, Joe tenner, and Francis Langford.
