HIDES AND SKIN SALE Messrs. Murray, Roberta and Company report as follows on the sale of, hides and! akin* held at Wellington on Friday:— , , , "In direct contrast with late sales, sheepskins declined sharply to the extent of about .hi per lb. Hides, however, continued to sell well and most sorts were al about par. The market lor cow hides, particularly light weights hardened somewhat, and ox hides ol all sorts were firm, aa were kip and yearling. Calf registered an increase ot approximately 3d per lb, the rise being more noticeable in super lots,"
