Two special prizes 'and seven: honourable mentions went to Australia, and New Zealand to-day in the international competition of the Now Historical Society, New York. The subject of the paper was "How can youth, develop racial harmony?" Special prizes of £lO each went to Miss Mary Sullivan, of Drummoyne, New South.'Wales, and Mr. lan Mnekay, of the Friendly Road radio station, Auckland.
