DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES

The Dairy Board has fixed prices in the basis of butter at 13fd and ;dieese at OAd per lb., equivalent to 100 s lid and 55s 4jjj per cwt., c.i.f.e.
The demand for two and three-year heifers of quality was indicated at flic recent annual heifer fair at Wavcrley, when 350 heifers sold at an, average of £7, with prices up to £lO. The offering was regarded as perhaps the best in the North Island and sales were made very readily. A good proportion of the heifers were railed to the Waikato.
