BOY'S EYE INJURED
STRUCK BY ARROW MISHAP DURING PLAY (Per Proas Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, last night Struck in the eye with an arrow- on Saturday, a hoy, aged six years, was admitted to the New Plymouth Hospital with a severe injury. An operation was performed immediately, but whether the boy will lose the sight of the eye will not be known for a few da vs.
The boy was George Richmond, a son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Richmond, Wharchu'in, near .Stratford. The boy and his young brother were playing with a. bow and arrows, when the other boy accidentally released an arrow which entered George's eye. He was rushed 10 New Plymouth tor special treatment.
