HARBOUR BOARD MEETING (Humid Correspondent.) The. annual meeting of the Tolaga Bay Harbour Board was' held on Saturday. Present: .Messrs. J. B. Morris. D. ItHawkins. W. Lock wood. F. W. Sheltou, C. E. Smith and F. 11. Loisel. Mr. .7. B. Morris was unanimously elected chairman for the ensuing year. The chairman's honorarium for the past year and the ensuing year was (ixed at £2-5. 'the stall's salaries were reviewed, and on the motion of the chairman, it was decided that no alteration should he made. The monthly meeting was then proceeded with. The secretary was instructed to procure the necessary posts and material for fencing in an area to protect the Norfolk Island pines. The hoard inspected the proposed she for the cattle yards and after considerable discussion it was decided to defer the matter in the meantime. The secretary was instructed to obtain quotations for the required amount of baling ties for the ensuing year.
there was the usual good attendance at the Rowling Club's Hag live-hundred evening. Players al (lie winning table were: Mrs. R. Redstone, Miss I'. Lipsett, Mrs J. Pickett, sen., and Mr*. J. Pickett, juii. Points prizes were won hv Mrs. J. Murphy and Mr. 11. Towel]. Other prizes went to >Mrs. P. Burgess and Mr. <!. A. Moore.
