PORTRAITS IN OILS TWO (JURAT X.Z. .MEN TRIBUTES TO SERVICES (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Portraits in oils of Sir Trttby King and the late Sir Francis Bell were handed over by representatives of subscribers of pictures to the Prime -Minister, the Rl. Hon. M. J. Savage, as chairman <>l the board of trustees ;it a representative gathering in the art gallery section of the Dominion Museum and National Art Gallery todav.

Mr. Justice Ostler handed over the picture of Sir Francis Bell to Mr. Cheviot Bell who, in turn, presented it to the gallery.

Mr. Justice Blair acted on behalf of ihe Karitane Products Society, Limited, in handing over the portrait o. Sir Trubv King.

Mr. Savage paid a tribute to the work done in connection with the art gallery by Mr. G. A. Troup, and those associated with him, and referred to the illustrious achievement of the two great men whom the pictures commemorated.
