Til moving the adoption of (he report and balance sheet (already published) the chairman congratulated the shareholders on the satisfactory position of the company’s affairs, and stated that the directors were very pleased to pay a 6 per rent- dividend after having paid rebates to shareholders during the yeai of I.f per cent on goods purchased, f per cent, on land commissions and 10 per cent on other commissions contributed

Tim adoption of the report and balance sheet was seconded by Mr. N. Kettle. On the motion of Mr. ,1. W. Sandlmann. seconded by Air. .1. T. Fenwick, the retiring directors, Messrs. Harold A. Russell, 11. Al. Campbell, and E. T. ft. Carlyon, were re-eleeled. On the motion of Air. ft. I'A Gardiner, seconded hy Air. \V. Harvey, the retiring auditors. Messrs. Robert Dobson and Company, were re-elected.
