MEAT FOR EXPORT
AUSTRALIAN QUOTAS BEEF’ AND VEAL MELBOURNE, May 20. The Australian Meat Board to-day announced the quantities of chilled and frozen beef and veal available for export to the United Kingdom for the second and last quarters of this year, and for the period from duly 1 to the expiry of the meat agreement between England and the Argentine, November 11. The quantities, which exceed those for the corresponding periods of last year, are:— duly r to October MO, G7l,S32e\vf. July 1 to November 11, S24,3Bi>cwL July 1 to December 111, l,f)o.'),2i!.'icwi.
The totals for all States of frozen arid chilled beef are respectively •S.>7,B32cwt„ 1,052,28ncwr., and 1.283,SG.'ewt.
