Sir Heaton Rhodes will spend a month at Rotorua recovering from a throat illness.
A sectional pass has been obtained by Mr. W. Greenwood, Gisborne, in connection with the examination of the Australasian Institute of Secretaries.
Sir Herbert Hart, who was lately appointed representative of the Imperial War Graves Commission in the territory between Cairo and Constantinople, - left Wellington for England by the. Tnmaroa last evening with Lady Hart and Miss Hart. Mr. Arthur Day, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. L.i Day, has obtained six months’ leave of absence from the Opotiki Dairy Association, and is now on his way to England. During his stay in England he will study the methods of handling New Zealand butter upon the arrival of shipments at London.
