WORTHAM, Eng., April 16. Wreaths of carrots were placed on effiges of Queen Anne and Sir George Middleton, chairman of the Queen Anne Bounty Committee, fl>y protesting iarniers, after which the derisive statuary was destroyed in a huge, bonfire.
