Miss Muriel Smith, who took seriously ill on Saturday morning, necessitating her admission to Chelsea Private Hospital, was reported this morning to be making satisfactory progress. His Honour, Mr. Justice Reed, actingChief Justice, arrived in Gisborne during the week-end, and will preside at the Supreme Court, commencing to-morrow. Ho dealt to-day with chambers matters.
