ILLEGAL LIQUOR SALE
RIVER BOAT TIED UP VISIT BY CONSTABLES (Per Press Association.) WANGANUT, this day. The Wangauui River Services. Company, Limited, was to-day fined 10s for selling liquor at a. landing on the upper reaches of the Wangauui Rivor while the vessel was tied up. Two constables went aboard and purchased a bottle of whisky and four bottles of bee:-. On a similar charge, Ngapone Rapiha, a steward, was fined £2. The license only provides for liquor being sold to passengers while the vessel is in motion
