WEST TOR’S MEMORIAL SPRINT TO FIRST CHAPTER BLYGAIX WINS LAST RACE. (Per Press Association.) CARTERTON, last night. _ The Carterton races were held in tine but overcast weather with but occasional glimpses of the sun. There was a good attendance. The track was in splendid condition. The lotalisator handed £OOOO, ,or £lO2 in excess of last meeting. Details of the concluding events were:—Bunny Memorial Handicap.—4 West Tor o.B* (C. Carroll), 1; 2 Royal Bengal, 7.7 (Forsyth), 2; 2 Dareeourt, S.S (S. Wilson), 2. Also started: f) Aguille, Hunting Day, 1 Slippery. Won by a head. Time, 1.295. The winner was decorated with the memorial ribbon. Electric Hack. —2 First Chapter, 7.12 (Forsyth), 1; 1 Quake, 8.4 (Watson), 2; 3 State Bank, S.G (Anderson), 3. Also started: 3 Midacre, G Camilla Horn, 4 Glndium. Won comfortably. Tiirie, 1.2. ■ Taratahi Handicap.—2 Blvgain, 8.3 (Marsh), 1; 8 Revival, 7.13 (Rosewarno), 2; 1 Royal Solo (Forsyth), 3.
