BORROWED FUR COAT
DANCING GIRL ACQUITTED LONDON, March 9. The borrowing of a 100-guinea fur coat and a diamond ring to go to a dance led to the appearance at Marylebone Police Court on Saturday of a young dancing partner, Marjorie Bobson, of Howland street, Tottenham Court road. She pleaded not guilty to stealing the articles from the flat of MissKny Batey, a dancing instructress, living at Upper Berkeley street, Marylebone. Miss Bntey denied that she had given her any authority to borrow them. The magistrate, in discharging Miss Robson, said: "I cannot say this was anything more than unauthorised borrowing."
