ESCAPEES CAUGHT
THREE OF POUR YOUTHS ARRESTS AT HAWERA (Per Press Association.) HAWERA, this day. Three of the four youths who escaped from the YVeraroa Training Farm were arrested this morning by the llawcra police, two being found hiding among some trees on the outskirts of the borough, while the other was arrested in the shopping area where he had gone in search of food.
The fourth escapee separated from his companions on the night of their escape and the others say they do not know of his whereabouts. The youths stole a car at Marlon yesterday evening and used this to travel to Mokoia, where they abandoned it when it ran out of petrol.
