RESEARCH EXPEDITION
700 WHALES MARKED CAPETOWN, April 3. After travelling .17,000 miles on a whaling research expedition to the Antarctic, which occupied four months, the William Scoresby has returned. During the voyage 700 whales were marked. Scientists aboard the vessel state that whales arc not being lulled as quickly as they had feared. The old grounds wore thinning, but now ones had been disc6vcred.
