BABY DROWNED
IN KEROSENE TIN BRISBANE, April 2. Shirley Brown, aged 10 months, of Tahvood, was drowned at her home this afternoon] It appears that the baby, who could barely crawl, pulled herself up on the side of a kerosene tin which was half full of water, overbalanced, and fell head first into the tin. She was found with head under the water. Efforts at artificial respiration failed to revive her.
