AIR FORCE TRIO MISSING

N. AUSTRALIAN FLIGHT FOOD FOR FOUR DAYS SEARCHERS SET OUT BRISBANE, April 15. An Australian Air Force twin-engined survey aeroplane, with a pilot, and two aircraftsmen aboard, has been missing in Northern Australia since Monday. It is believed that the plane is clown somewhere between Camooweal and Wave Hill. Another air force machine has left Charleville to search for the missing machine, which is a Dragon Rapide. It was on its way to Port Hedland, Western Australia, to carry out photographic survey work. Neither machine has wireless equipment.

The occupants missing- in the Dragon Rnpide are: Plight-Lieut. W. Hely, and Leading Aircraftsmen Sherwood and Walkington, all from the Richmond air force aerodrome, New South Wales.

The machine ' has emergency rations sufficient to sustain the trio for about four days.
