CARD EVENING' (Hernld Correspondent.? On Saturday evening a Hag five-hun-dred card evening was held in the rooms of the Women's Institute. The rooms were a mass of bloom, being decorated with dahlias, Michaelmas daisies and zinnias. Those who were awarded first prizes were Mrs. Renata, Miss K. Brown, Mr. 'S. Robin and Mr. Buster. The . winners of second prizes were Misses L. Shaw, N. Cleaver, I. Cleaver and M. Walker. Among those present were Mesdames A. Shaw, E. Tait, J. King, Renata, Van Slyke, and Cleaver; Misses L. 'Shaw, M. and I. Cleaver, K. Brown and D. Hynes. The ladies served a dainty home-made supper.
