NEW RECORD CLAIMED SECRETS OP SUCCESS SYDNEY, April 5. If vim want to break sheep-shearing records lead an outdoor life, learn the secret of co-ordinating your muscles, and don't smoke. That is the advice of Alfred Hill, the 64-year-old shearer, of Dinley, New South Wales, who took the wool off 209 slice]) ill eight hours yesterday and set up what, is believed to be a record for a man of his age and weight. Ho is under Bsl. Healthy and active as a youth, he confidently expects to become a centenarian. His father missed this distinction by only one year, and his mother died aged 89. The veteran said that he had eaten a good steak for bis lunch yesterday, and that had helped him to shear 114 sheep during the afternoon. In addition, he had a few cakes during the day to keep his "pecker" up, "lint no strong drink," he hastened to explain.
