WEDDING AT MOTU

GREEN—ARTHUR (Herald Correspondent.) On Tuesday afternoon St. Paul's Church, Motu. was the scene of a. very pretty wedding when Eva Juliet, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Arthur, was married to Harold Frank, younger son of -Mr. and Mrs. IT. Green, Hove, Sussex, England. The picturesque little church had been beautifully- decorated by friends of the bride. An arch composed of lycapodium magnolias and belladonna lilies, was arranged over the altar steps, while anemones and cosmos adorned the altar, and white bows the pews. The bride, who was escorted by hei father, wore a graceful frock of white needle-run lace over parchment satin. The bodice was finished at the neck with tiny georgette roses and ciystal 1) tit lons down the back. A coatee with bishop sleeves was worn, and the long skirt was slightly flared from the knees. The tulle veil was arranged with a bandeau of pearls and caught at the back of the iiead witli a spray of orange blossom, falling gracefully to form a slight train. On her shoulder was a spray of orange blossom which had been worn by a bride 150 years ago. A dainty bouquet of white 'cactus dahlias, roses, and asparagus fern was carried, and a charming toilette was completed with white velvet shoes. The only bridesmaid, Miss Marie Cummings, cousin of the bride, wore a lovely frock of sky blue silk lace over taffeta. The flared skirt was finished from (he knees with numerous tiny niched frills of. taffeta, and the puff sleeves of the same material. A blue and silve) girdle was worn, and a silver headband and shoes. Her bouquet was of pale pink tinted dahlias The duties of best man were earned Jut by Mr. Bon Cooper. Tokomaru Pay. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. I). Hodgson, Te Karaka. and appropriate organ music was played by Mr. C. G. Anderson.

After the ceremony a reception was held in the Women's Institute room, which was charmingly arranged with mauve and white cosmos, white Mich aelmas daisies, and salvias. A large white bell was suspended over the centre table. Mrs. Arthur received the guests wearing a smart frock of rust-red wool maro eain, and a felt hat to tone, and holding a bouquet, of autumn tinted miniature dahlias.
