The Solicitor-General, Sir Donald liradlov Somervell, of Cornwall terrace, Regent's I'arl;, N.W.. was fined 20s by Mr. Dummctt at How street yesterday for exceeding the speed limit of 20 miles an hour in St. .lames' Park on February 7 - • , ■ It was said that his car was timed in the Mall over a measured furlong, which was covered at 34 miles an hour. Sir Donald did not appear, but wrote a lfetter expressing hii regret.
