INJURIES PROVE FATAL
MAO#I ON LQSRY HIT BY PASSING CAR (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. Mokai Penetito, aged 47 years, of Waharoa, who was struck by a passing motor-car while riding on a lorry between Putaruru and Tirou on Monday, succumbed in the Waikato Hospital today to injuries consisting of a fractured left thigh and severe lacerations.
